Financial resources at sustainable conditions for Microfinance Institutions and Producers' Associations in Latin America, Africa and Asia

PROCEDURE

PHASE 1 - APPLYING FOR A LOAN
Interested parties submit their application.
Application submittal doesn't imply obligations on the part of the applicant. It represents the base to define the terms of the loan to be negotiated .
The application is examined by CreditoSud, and a reply is sent to the applicant, possibly containing the details of a preliminary offer by CreditoSud.

PHASE 2 - EVALUATION MISSION
If the terms of the loan can be defined between the applicant and CreditoSud, CreditoSud will submit an offer to conduct an evaluation mission.
In this case, CreditoSud will request the applicant to partly cover for the costs of the mission, with an amount in cash plus local transport and accomodation costs for a person, for a period of approx. four days.
If the applicant agrees, the evaluation mission is carried out and the results submitted to the Credit Committee of CreditoSud.
The Committee's decision is communicated to the applicant, possibly with a formal offer for a contract.

PHASE 3 - EXCHANGE OF DOCUMENTS
If the offer by CreditoSud is accepted by the applicant, the necessary documents for disbursement (contracts) are exchanged between the two institutions. When red-tape is complete, we proceed to disbursement.

PHASE 4 - DISBURSEMENT
Disbursements are generally fast: loans have been disbursed as short as two weeks after the evaluation mission, and we expect four weeks to be an average. Time of disbursement is defined according to customer's preference.
This procedure is generally observed for our negotiations; however, we welcome your comments and questions and we are ready to adapt to specific circumstances.
